When there is financial failure, it comes as a result of illiquidity.

Like a typical diva, even when it is not about Europe, it is about Europe. 

Market forecasts are made for many different time frames. 

What I write here will not be rigorous.  We’ve heard about “peak oil.”  We’ve heard about other resources, and how production will decline over time.

But what of credit?

The really big schew (as Ed Sullivan would have called it) that was the European meetings of the week just past, including special guest Tim Geithner to help cobble together an agreement that will, at one swoop of the pen, put all right with the financial system of Europe.
