The Local's Take: Market Close CommentaryBrian Kahn - Monday, August 16th, 2010

Good Afternoon,

How many of you read my Sunday blog? If you haven't, please do as it gives a peek inside my thought process for the week.  So far, 1 for 1:

**I am very cautious due to summer markets, so the throttle is pulled back and I am not expecting any trading opportunities, but will take them if they occur

**I am not bullish at these levels

**I am still looking for time decay as August (can you believe it is August already!!) options expire on Friday

**I am looking to sell rallies

Hey, that last point led me to a trading opportunity.  Here is the setup:

**bullish the dollar

**looking to sell the GBP at significant rallies

**BUFFALO BOUNCE good for 40 pips rather quickly

Going forward, we have lots of economic data and still a handful of earnings, so it will be another technical week wit the charts giving you your signals.  I am still looking for claims to be the deciding factor for the week if they come in way below or above expectations.

So, I am holding onto my long dollar trade and hoping that a few stocks come off just ever so slightly between now and Friday

Happy Trading and Be Environmentally Cool
